On Dry Land is a short play set on St. Paul’s, a fictional island used exclusively for its drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. T, a new arrival, is forced to endure his time on the island under the mentorship of B, an older rehabilitated alcoholic. As T begins to dry out and resolve his own issues, he begins to realize that B is not all he appears to be, and the two quickly descend into a dance of addiction, control, and ultimately revenge.
