Come along and learn how to make a spoon!

You will learn basic whittling techniques with straight and curved whittling knives and learn all about the ancient traditions of greenwood-working.

Some things to know for this session:  

• Please note that this class is for adults.

• Please wear closed-in footwear and come mentally prepared to handle sharp tools!

• Please bring: A water bottle to keep hydrated and any snacks/meals you need.

• Close-fitting gardening type rubberised gloves are required for this workshop. They help with grip & protection of your hands. You are welcome to bring your own, or we can provide them when you attend the workshop.

Otherwise, all tool and materials provided.

NOTE: This workshop is only suited to adults and those who can work safely without direct supervision with very sharp hand tools.

Participants will gather at the venue from 9:15 onwards ready for a 9:30 am start. This workshop finishes at 1:30pm.
